Wolfelele's mission is to offer folk festival planners and music teachers a comprehensive ukulele kit designed to be part of festival activities or classroom learning. Festival goers and students can easily build their own hand-crafted string instrument over a three hour session with minimal supervision and guidance.
Designed to encourage interactive participation, cognitive skills, and hands-on learning ukulele builders and students alike will take pleasure in their sense of accomplishment and ownership as they assemble a complete, functioning instrument from simple pieces in a bag. They will equally delight in the creativity and individualism they can express as they decorate the finished product.
From six to 80 years old, beginner or advanced hundreds of workshop participants have thoroughly enjoyed the unique experience of building their own functioning instrument.
